Rep. Decker gives Better Bottle Bill briefing

On Monday July 24, 2023, state Rep. Marjorie Decker visited MASSPIRG’s canvass office to share her thoughts about grassroots democracy, the legislative process, and the importance of updating the bottle bill. Rep. Decker is the chief sponsor of H3690, An Act to Expand the Bottle Bill, which would bring the 40+ year old law into the 21st century by increasing the deposit to a dime and putting deposits on water bottles, iced tea, vitamin drinks and more.
