Tell Meta: Don’t push VR headsets on kids until they’re proven safe

Meta - formerly Facebook - released its new VR headset, the Quest 3, last month.

We know VR headsets may impact developing brains — but we can’t know how until we do more testing. Until this technology is proven safe for developing brains, it shouldn’t be advertised for minors.

I urge Meta not to market VR headsets to children or teens under age 18 unless and until they’re proven safe.
