Home Design of Indiana is recalling 527,177 platform beds because they can break, sag or collapse, according to an announcement by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The company has received 128 complaints that beds broke in some way, causing 36 injuries. The recalled models include twin, full, queen or king sizes.
The beds were sold through Overstock, Walmart and Wayfair from July 2018 through November 2023 for $100 to $300. They were manufactured in Malaysia.

Consumers should not use the recalled beds until they receive free replacement slats and side rails from Home Design. Owners will need to send a photo of the bed and the label or other documentation to [email protected]. They can also contact the company online or call 833-383-2967.
