Target: Eliminate plastic bags

Dear CEO of Target Brian Cornell,

Plastic bags are constantly getting caught in trees, lining roadways and polluting waterways, where they can harm wildlife. They don’t completely break down in landfills or as litter, instead releasing microplastics that threaten both our environment and our health. Nothing we use for just a few minutes should pollute the planet for centuries.

Target should eliminate plastic bags at checkout nationwide to reduce plastic waste, cut down on litter and build a healthier, more sustainable future.
