Airline travelers need more protections

Air travel isn’t nearly as smooth as it used to be. We still have way too many cancellations and long delays, and hassles getting legally required refunds if a flight is canceled for any reason. And add-on fees are often not transparent, which is unfair and frustrating. The Department of Transportation (DOT) needs to do more to put a stop to bad airline behavior.
