Good news as FTC announces plan to outlaw Junk Fees

Federal officials say junk fees cost Americans tens of billions of dollars annually and hurt businesses whose prices might look more expensive because they’re disclosing everything up front.

The proposed rules provide consumers with upfront pricing and transparency allowing consumers to compare the real price of the service or goods. If approved, consumers will no longer have to deal with the frustrating experience of purchasing tickets, hotel rooms, renting houses or apartments and more,  only to find out the real price is no where near the advertised price.
