“MASSPIRG commends the work of the bi-partisan Tax Expenditure Commission and the approval of their final report today which will be filed in the legislature before April 30, 2012.
The commission’s findings will provide a long overdue and much needed roadmap to making the $26 billion tax expenditure budget and the programs supported through the budget more transparent and efficient. We look forward to seeing the reforms called for in the report adopted without delay to ensure every tax dollar is invested wisely and the public gets the best bang for that investment.”
