Thank Google for longer lasting Chromebooks

Google leaders,

I was excited to read about your announcement of longer-lasting Chromebooks. You made the right decision for users and the environment.

Your decision has set a standard that other companies should follow.

All tech should last longer. With e-waste the fastest growing waste-stream in the U.S., it’s not sustainable to consume technology at this rate. Google and other tech companies should continue to find ways to stop the disposability treadmill that pressures us to replace our phones and laptops in favor of newer models.

I’m looking forward to your continued efforts in making products designed to last.
