The Federal Trade Commission estimates junk fees cost consumers tens of billions of dollars each year. The price we pay should be disclosed up front, and include a breakdown of the mandatory fees within the total price.

Companies should be transparent about whether a fee is mandatory, the purpose of the fee, and who will receive the fee. Tell your state representatives to support transparency and upfront pricing help for consumers.
