Tell your state representative: Protect us from unfair prescription drug prices

Americans pay two to three times as much as people in other countries for the same medicines. We know that when generic drugs come to market, prices for those medicines decrease by 39 percent or more. Our medications don’t work any better when we pay more for them.

It’s time to put an end to anticompetitive schemes that prevent patients from getting lower priced generics. Establishing prescription drug affordability boards can work to bring drug prices down by setting annual drug spending targets or establishing upper payment limits. Tell your state representative to protect us from unfair prescription drug prices.
