Tell your state legislators: Give healthcare power back to patients and doctors

For too long, insurance companies have used predatory practices to restrict patients’ access to care and boost profits.

This includes:

  • Using gaps in our insurance regulations to deny and delay access to necessary medical treatment;
  • Operating “ghost networks” – directories of supposedly in-network providers, many of which aren’t accepting new patients, aren’t in-network, or don’t exist at all; and
  • Raising rates without review or justification.

Insurance companies should not be allowed to put our health care needs at risk to pad their profits.

Tell your state legislators to support the Healthcare Consumer Access and Protection Act to put healthcare power back into the hands of patients and their doctors.
