Right to repair

Thank you for taking action. Will you donate today to help keep our work going strong?

When we buy something, we should expect it to last, but far too often what we buy is disposable. That’s because companies are selling us stuff that doesn’t hold up, can’t be fixed, can’t be upgraded, or relies on updates that stop too quickly.

All this disposable stuff has us stuck in a loop of buy, use, toss, and buying again. Americans throw out 4.9 pounds of trash per person every day, nearly 1,800 pounds each year.

We’re ending the cycle of buy, use, toss because we deserve better than a world where nothing’s built to last.
