Seattle Sip & Swap

Celebrate Earth Day with WashPIRG at our Seattle Clothing Sip & Swap! A clothing swap is a fun, free way to keep clothes in use and out of the landfill. Bring a few items of clothing you don’t wear anymore and give them a second life by swapping them for something ‘new.’

Admission is free, but to participate in the swap you must bring a minimum of 2 items to donate. Join us at Reuben’s Brews Barrel House to enjoy a drink, swap clothing and take action on WashPIRG and Environment Washington’s campaigns to protect our environment.

How it works:
Arrive with a few clothing items (2-20) that you’d like to swap. Please bring clean clothing that is appropriate for the Spring and Summer seasons. Clothing should be in good condition (no stains or damages). You’ll be able to take home as many items as you bring (ie. If you donate 5 items, you can take home up to 5 items). There will be tables and clothing racks to use for display as people “shop!”

This event is for all ages. All leftover clothes will be donated to a local shelter after the event. Please RSVP to receive additional event details.
