“I’ve always loved helping the environment by picking up litter on the way to school or making candy wrapper collages. I usually buy anime shirts, but I never throw them away. In fact, I’ve grown to love making sock stuffies and other projects out of old clothing!”

What’s the problem with fast fashion?

“Fast fashion is a huge problem! Our resources—like water— are going to waste for vast numbers for clothing, only for these products to be thrown away in large quantities when the trends end.”

How do you hope to see the fashion industry change?

“I hope that more consumers realize the implications of fast fashion, how much precious water is being wasted, and how much money they can save by just wearing mended and thrifted clothing.
