The FDA hasn’t been doing enough to protect Americans from the dangers of toxic PFAS “forever chemicals.” Its continued negligence exposes Americans to health risks like cancer and liver damage.

And despite knowing about the problem with PFAS since 1966 when the chemical company DuPont first reported its use of PFAS in product testing, the FDA still allows these chemicals to be used in packaging our everyday food products today.
