Toxic PFAS chemicals pose a threat to our environment, our health, and our communities here in North Carolina. Under the Clean Water Act, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) has the authority to control discharges of PFAS, but right now they aren’t using that power.

We need to ensure North Carolinians aren’t exposed to one more drop of these chemicals. Send an email to NC DEQ’s Secretary Elizabeth Biser to ask that they put the burden of PFAS pollution where it belongs — on the polluters.
