Take action to put a stop to 3M’s PFAS pollution

I strongly urge you to forbid 3M from releasing any PFAS chemicals from its Cottage Grove facility into the Mississippi River.

Toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” don’t break down in our bodies or the environment. The more PFAS pollution we allow to enter our waterways, the more serious the risk to our health for years to come.

There are thousands of kinds of PFAS, many of which have been linked to developmental delays in kids, immune system disorders, and even some forms of cancer. It’s vital to our health that we limit exposure to these pollutants as much as possible.

It makes no sense to allow a giant company to keep dumping any amount of these chemicals into our rivers.
