Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Truett Cathy:

When bacteria are repeatedly exposed to antibiotics, they can adapt to survive them, breeding antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria. These infections are especially difficult, or even impossible, to treat, and thousands of Americans are dying each year as a result.

A cheaper chicken sandwich shouldn’t cost us lifesaving medicines. Chick-fil-A should keep its commitment to not using antibiotics in its meat supply.
