Tell Mastercard: Don’t sell our data

Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach,

Credit card companies collect some data to provide us with accurate information and billing each month. But selling that data to hedge funds and other third parties increases the risk that our personal information will be involved in a data breach, hack, scam or theft.

Mastercard should commit to using cardholder transaction data only for the purposes of being a secure credit card. Don’t sell our data.
