Shoppers on Etsy are looking for unique handmade gifts. What they’re not looking for is to be duped by fake deals.

Etsy is allowing sellers to use fake countdown timers to make it look like discounts and deals are going to expire. But in many cases when the timer hits 0, it just resets for another 24 hours at the same price as before.
