Tell your governor: Stop disposable vape waste

Dear Governor,

We urge you to take action to stop vape waste caused by single-use disposable vapes. These products are not only illegal to sell since they lack FDA approval, but are contributing to the skyrocketing amount of electronic waste we generate every day, with harmful chemicals leaching into our environment and polluting our waterways. They also use up finite resources like lithium, which are needed to power electric vehicle batteries. Instead, this critical mineral ends up in the landfill at a rate of 4.5 vapes per second in the U.S.

By banning the sale of disposable vapes, we can reduce waste, preserve valuable resources, and keep toxic chemicals out of our beaches and rivers.
