Letter to Hogan: 1000 health professionals call for action

Along with U.S. PIRG and more than 1000 health professionals, we are calling on our decision makers to shut down, start over, and do it right.

Maryland PIRG has sent a letter to Governor Hogan. Along with U.S. PIRG and our partners across the country, we are calling on our decision makers to shut down, start over, and do it right. This call has been joined by more than 1000 public health professionals from Maryland and nationwide, and the list is growing.

We have access to an incredible team of public health experts in Maryland and Governor Hogan laid out a strong plan with his Roadmap to Recovery.  The plan outlines the need to rollback reopening if conditions worsen. Unfortunately, we have reached that time.

Maryland PIRG is calling on the Governor to immediately tighten restrictions statewide and be ready to shut down, start over, and do it right.

It’s time to reset. Bold action taken today will save lives, and we need leadership.
