Freshwater fish have become the latest example of the rapid and dangerous accumulation of toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” in our environment. A study concluded that having just one serving of freshwater fish would be like drinking water with 2,400 times the EPA-advised PFAS limit.

It goes without saying that, for chemicals linked to cancer and other serious health threats, this level of exposure is unacceptable. But the good news is that PIRG, our allies and supporters like you have been making significant progress toward stopping PFAS pollution at the source.

Your donation today helps ensure PIRG advocates and organizers can keep up the momentum for a PFAS-free future. Can we count on your support?
