Take action to protect the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
Acting CFPB director Russell Vought,
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau serves all Americans–including veterans, the elderly, and homeowners–by protecting consumers from scams and unfair practices. In nearly fourteen years, the bureau has secured more than $21 billion in relief for consumers.
The importance of preventing scams and securing a financially healthy future is something all Americans should be able to agree on. I strongly urge you not to shutter or hamstring the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and keep the agency’s important mission going strong.
