Florida’s Department of Environmental protection is taking major steps towards meeting its climate goal of having a zero emissions fleet by 2050. Recently $68 Million dollars was awarded to 13 counties in order to purchase over 200 electric transit buses. To complement the addition of these buses, the Florida Department of Transportation has submitted plans for the creation of additional EV supporting infrastructure.

Making investments into electric buses should have significant economic, environmental and public health benefits. To learn more about the benefits of switching to Electric Buses visit Electric Buses in America
