PIRG urges agency to remove medical debt from credit reports

Medical debts, unlike other consumer debt, doesn't reflect credit-worthiness.

PIRG submitted comments supporting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's proposed rule to prevent medical debt from appearing on credit reports sent to creditors.
