U.S. PIRG filed an amicus brief in a class action health cost lawsuit alleging anti-competitive practices
The brief, entered into the record in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on October 7, 2022, sides with the insured members of the class action, pointing to specific anti-competitive contracting provisions which have driven up costs for the insured patients using the Sutter Health system in California.
