Toy recall: Mushroom peg sorter recalled by Target

Stem can break and cause a choking hazard

Target Corp. has recalled a Hearth & Hand with Magnolia 13-piece toy mushroom peg sorter because the stems of the mushrooms can detach, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. This is a choking hazard to young children.
About 1,850 of the toys were sold through Target in stores nationwide and online from July 2023 through September 2023. The 6- by 8-inch toy board sold for about $20.

The company has received five complaints of the toys becoming detached. No injuries have been reported.

Families should take the toy away from children and return it to a Target store or contact Target for a return label, by calling 800-440-0680 or online at https://help.target.com/help/. Consumers will get a full refund.
