Tell the EPA: Ban vinyl chloride

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan,

Vinyl chloride was identified as a carcinogen 50 years ago. The 2023 train derailment, spill and combustion of vinyl chloride in East Palestine, Ohio, was just the latest example of how dangerous this chemical can be, and why it needs to be banned from use in plastic production nationwide.

Let’s prevent more tragic accidents. Protect our communities and ban vinyl chloride.
