In a letter to RTD leadership, CoPIRG, SWEEP and the Denver Streets Partnership called on the agency to act quickly and transparently to adopt recommendations to improve their internal practices, structure and culture.

The letter comes after RTD completed an Organization Assessment that identified five major themes for improvement after interviewing hundreds of employees and members of the leadership team. The assessment also made recommendations for actions the agency could adopt.

In the letter, the three groups said “RTD should immediately announce an initial phase of corrective actions to be implemented within the next six months and pledge to address additional recommendations in additional phases as soon as possible.”
