CoPIRG public health advocate Alex Simon was joined by Senator John Hickenlooper for the release of an online dashboard by Environment Colorado Research & Policy Center showing Colorado’s progress across different renewable energy sectors. Colorado ranks 7th in the nation for growth in wind energy production since 2012 and 7th and 8th for growth in electric vehicle charging ports and sales.

The Department of Energy has proposed the first meaningful update in over 30 years to efficiency standards for furnaces and boilers.If adopted, these standards will not only lower energy bills for millions of Americans, but they will also reduce the pollution that’s warming our planet.
