Tell automakers: Stop sharing drivers’ data
It's time for automakers to stop the secret collecting and sharing of drivers' data.
7A allows RTD to retain the tax revenue they raise to invest in better bus and train service across the Denver metro region
With enough votes in on Tuesday night, it’s safe to say voters have approved the RTD 7A initiative.
The initiative allows RTD to keep the sales tax revenue they raise for their core system and invest it in the operations and maintenance of critical bus and train services in the Denver metro region.
The victory comes on the heels of historic investments by the state legislature and Governor in transit in the spring. With the passage of 7A, 2024 truly is the year of transit.
7A was supported by a broad coalition of over 100 groups and elected officials. From songs to text messages, ballot guides to town halls, the coalition reached voters across the region with a clear message – Keep Transit Moving.
From Nederland and the Foothills to the edge of the Great Plains, RTD’s buses and trains give people more freedom and options to go to work, school, shopping or a Broncos game. It cuts pollution and is a safer and cheaper way to travel without a car.
Thanks to the support of voters we can now turn our attention to growing the system and ensuring buses and trains come more often, are more reliable and take you where you need to go quickly and safely.
It's time for automakers to stop the secret collecting and sharing of drivers' data.
