Denver’s e-bike program continues to be in high demand

As we continue to feel the effects of climate change across the country, many cities are investing in new ways to reduce their emissions. Over the past few months Denver has implemented their own highly popular emissions reduction strategy. The city has chosen to help its residents invest in E-bikes as an alternate mode of transportation. The city’s first edition of an E-bike rebate program was in such high demand that they were forced to shift to a monthly voucher release. Even after making the change the program remains in high demand with monthly vouchers running dry just minutes after they are released. 

It’s clear that Denver residents believe in E-bikes and it’s easy to see why. E-bikes have provided a fun alternative to short car trips that may otherwise have been too far or too hilly for an unpowered bicycle trip.
