With news of a class action lawsuit targeting baby wipes that allegedly contain PFAS, a class of ‘forever’ chemicals linked to serious health effects, CoPIRG is highlighting that Colorado law bans companies from selling ANY product designed for infants or children under the age of 12 that contains PFAS.

The law protecting kids from exposure to PFAS was passed in 2022 and went into effect January 1, 2024.

Colorado has one of the most comprehensive laws banning PFAS in consumer products.
