Coloradans living along the Front Range have been exposed to dangerously high levels of ozone air pollution for too long. Breathing this ozone pollution can cause or worsen not only respiratory conditions such as asthma and lung damage but also certain cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Right now, the state Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) is considering a plan to address this ozone pollution. We are calling on the AQCC to add additional actions that ensure we meet the health-based federal clean air quality standards.

They’ll be taking public comment at a virtual hearing Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 4:30pm-7:30pm.

Sign up here to let us know you’re interested in testifying during the public comment session on Dec. 13, and we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. We’ll let you know all the info you need as the date approaches, including what you can and should say.
