Good news for clean, green transportation in California

Late Wednesday night, the California legislature passed next year’s budget, which includes significant funding to keep our air clean and breathable. 

Highlights include $1.5 billion to support clean, electric school buses—which equates to approximately 3000 new electric school buses along with the infrastructure needed to support them. $4.2 billion was also included to advance the state’s high-speed rail project.

With so many Californians living with unhealthy air quality, we applaud these investments and encourage our legislature to do even more to protect our air and environment!
