The U.S. Postal Service already operates the largest civilian fleet of vehicles in the world, with 228,000 vehicles. Over half of them are decades old with low gas mileage and high maintenance costs — giving us the perfect opportunity to upgrade this fleet to clean electric vehicles that are better for the environment and public health.

Thankfully, with the introduction of The Green Postal Service Fleet Act, we have an opportunity to ensure that the Postal Service successfully enters a new era of electric vehicles.
