Break Free from Plastic Celebration and Reception

This year California took sweeping action to reduce single-use plastic pollution with the passage of the Plastic Pollution Producer Responsibility Act (SB 54), which mandates significant reductions in single-use foodware and packaging and holds producers financially responsible for the plastic they put into our communities.

To celebrate this achievement for our ocean and communities and discuss next steps, we’re bringing together leaders and activists for a celebration event at Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza on October 23rd starting at 2PM, followed by a reception at Vista (11 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254) with food and drinks.
