Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Truett Cathy:

Nothing we use for a moment’s convenience should pollute our communities and our environment for centuries to come.

That’s why I’m urging you to phase out polystyrene foam cups across all of your stores. Polystyrene foam is one of the worst forms of plastic pollution, as it breaks apart easily and persists in our environment for hundreds of years.

You’ve already made the decision to phase out plastic foam cups in select stores. Now it’s time to take it nationwide.
