Help stop the shopping waste cycle

As documented in the recent Netflix film, Buy Now!, our consumption and waste issues have reached a point where we have to make some changes. You can help break the shopping waste cycle starting with plastic shipping waste. Call on Amazon–one of America’s largest retailers–to stop shipping plastic packaging.

Amazon sends an astounding number of shipments out each day. Many of the products delivered are wrapped or padded in plastic that ultimately will go to the landfill, to the ocean, or come to pollute our communities. Amazon has made some commitments to phase out plastic packaging and use sustainable alternatives. But the company needs to set a deadline to eliminate all plastic waste from its shipping operations.
